This story is set after Empire Strikes Back & after the War Of The Bounty Hunters event, but before Return Of The Jedi and the reading order is CR5>BH23>DV23>SW24>DA21.
Crimson Reign 5 was released 22nd June 2022 and was written by Charles Soule, with Steven Cummings as penciller, Victor Olazaba as inker and Guru eFX as colour artist. BH23 was released 1st June 2022 and was written by Ethan Sacks with Natacha as artist and Arif Prianto as colour artist. DV23 was June 1st 2022, was written by Greg Pak with Raffaele Ienco as artist and Carlos Lopez as colour artist. SW24 was released 8th June 2022 and was written by Charles Soule, with Ramon Rosanas & Madibek Musabekov as artists and Rachelle Rosenberg as colour artist. DA21 was released 29th June 2022 and was written by Alyssa Wong with Minkyu Jung as artist Rachelle Rosenberg as colour artist.
Mike covered the prelude to Crimson Reign in episode 97 of SWCIC, and volumes 1-4 in episodes 102, 104, 106 & 108 and for all War of The Bounty Hunters comics, check episodes 60, 64, 68, 72, 77 & 84.
In ep 109, Mike delved into the archives to redo the four Rise Of Kylo Ren comics, giving much more information than when he tackled it previously (in ep 1), including connections to The High Republic, the 2020 Star Wars comics, the 2017 Darth Vader comics, Crimson Reign and gives much more information on the Knights Of Ren! He also delves into the process of bleeding a lightsaber crystal and explains how Kylo got his iconic lightsaber from the sequel trilogy!
