PHASE 2 OF THE HIGH REPUBLIC KICKS OFF WITH A CULT, A CONSPIRACY & CHAOS! Path Of Deceit is the focus of this episode; where Mike provides an overview of Phase 2 of The High Republic, before providing his spoiler-free thoughts on the novel. He then provides more information on the book, before giving a spoiler-warning his spoiler-filled thoughts, giving an overview of the book’s plot, some connections to other content and more! This book is the first in the second phase of the High Republic and centres around the Path Of The Open Hand, Marda & Yana Ro, Kevmo Zink, Zallah Macri and the mysterious Mother.

Path Of Deceit is a young-adult novel written by Tessa Gratton & Justina Ireland, is set in Phase 2, Wave 1 of THR; 350 years before the Skywalker Saga and was released October 4th 2022.

In the last episode, Mike embarked on a book review for Padawan by Kiersten White; a novel centred around a young Obi-Wan Kenobi shortly after being taken on as a padawan by Qui-Gon Jinn. Obi-Wan travels to a new world, after being guided by a Jedi from the High Republic, he meets a group of children who seem to have strange force abilities, but there is more than meets the eye, as this mystery unravels around Obi-Wan all while he questions where his place is in the galaxy.
