SITH CULTISTS FROM EXEGOL THREATEN LANDO, REY’S PARENTS AND LUKE! Shadow Of The Sith by Adam Christopher is this episode’s focus where Mike gives you his spoiler-free thoughts on the book, with some plot details near the end! Set in 21ABY (17 years after Return Of The Jedi & 13 years before The Force Awakens), this book tells interweaving stories about Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian, Ochi Of Bestoon, a young Rey and her parents Dathan & Miramir, all caught up in a plot by the Sith Eternal!

This episode was first released on the feed of Comics In Motion, in August 2022.

In more detail, Mike gives his spoiler-free thoughts on the book, as well as providing background information, he then provides some minor details on themes and the general pacing & start of the book, while steering clear of any major plot points, before providing his full thoughts at the end which include spoilers about appearances, great moments, connections to related content and an overview of the plot.

Previously, in ep 105 of SWCIC, Mike delved into 6 stories within 5 comics surrounding the canon cruise ship The Halcyon which span from The High Republic Era all the way up to The Last Jedi, with stories in each of the main eras of the current Star Wars canon! As some pirates try to capture a resistance spy from the ship, stories are told to keep a young girl’s mind off of the havoc, including an adventure with Wookiee padawan Burryaga, bounty hunter Aurra Sing fighting a monster, Maz Kanata working with Hondo Ohnaka & Lando to steal back an artifact, Anakin & Padmé pursue a senator and a man is tracked down by some familiar bounty hunters!

Flying TIE Fighters For The Empire & Shadow Wing Squadron – Star Wars: Comics In Canon Ep 45

This episode of Star Wars: Comics In Canon features the 5-part mini-series TIE Fighter, created as a tie-in for the Alphabet Squadron novels, following a group of Imperial pilots attempt to rescue a star destroyer, uncover a traitor and have multiple flashbacks all while trying to not get killed in the process!

All 5 comics were written by Jody Houser, with the artists being; Rogê Antônio, Joshua Cassara, Geraldo Borges, Ig Guara & Juan Gedeon, along with the colour artists; Arif Prianto, Lee Loughridge, Neeraj Monin, Jean-François Beaulieu & Dono Sánchez-Almara.

Please note this episode was originally released in February of 2021 on the feed of Comics In Motion.

The issue 1 was released April 2019, issue 6 was out August 2019 and the trade paperback collection was out October 2019.
