#188 P2 – My Journey Connecting With God: Combating Adversity, Accepting Blessings & How We Perceive God With BZ The Voice & Tonya Todd

Discussing the idea of, and one’s connection to, God is the central area of discussion for this episode and Mike is again joined by BZ The Voice and Tonya Todd – “B And The T” or “BZ & Double-T”!

This week, (part 2) the trio’s discussion on God continues, with BZ and Tonya explaining how & where their current relationship with God started, before talking about how they perceive God, when they feel closest to God, combating adversity, favourite “religion” places, why Tonya continues to believe there is a powerful presence in all of ours lives and so much more!

Last week, in part 1, the conversation started with BZ & Tonya defining their own religious/spiritual beliefs and BZ explains why he is so open with his love of God, before Tonya explains her connection with God and asks Mike why he has embarked on so many religious discussions recently. After BZ talks about being inquisitive, Tonya & BZ explore attributing achievements to God while still putting the effort in and listening for God’s guidance.

This week Mike has two special guests on the show; BZ The Voice and Steve J. Ray to talk about Green Lantern and BZ’s upcoming GL fan-film “In The Brightest Day Off”!

For more info, part 1 of their chat starts with BZ detailing the reasonings behind making a fan film of the John Stewart Green Lantern, followed by some of what people can expect from the film and his already-planned sequel, before the trio discuss the 2011 Green Lantern movie and Silver Surfer & Galactus’ appearance in the second Fantastic Four movie, the X-Men movies and plenty more nerd-talk!
