This story is set after the movie Solo but before A New Hope, approximately 2-8 years before the Battle of Yavin (8-2BBY).
Han Solo & Chewbacca’s first arc; The Crystal Run, was written by Marc Guggenheim, the artist was David Messina and the colour artist was Alex Sinclair. Issue 1 was released March 9th 2022, issue 5 was released August 10th 2022 and the trade paperback collection is due for release November 8th 2022.
For other Han Solo content, Mike tackled his time in the Imperial army in ep 10 of SWCIC, Han is in the majority of 2015 Star Wars comics, which starts in ep 9 and Han’s Age Of Rebellion comic is tackled in episode 47. Previously, in ep 106, Mike delved into the third batch of Crimson Reign comics, where the Crimson Dawn conspiracy continues to unravel in a galaxy of chaos. The Archivist searches the galaxy for the green Jedi Master while the bounty hunter crew plan to capture Vukorah, Aphra & Sana’s search for the Spark Eternal nears its end, Sabé works to manipulate Vader and Qi’ra bargains with Leia while Zahra tortures Shara Bay – all of this is tackled this week, plus Mike provides information on Jeremy Bulloch’s non-Boba-Fett character and more.
