#203 – A 3 Month Hike In The USA: The Pacific Crest Trail, Food Packing & Bust Builders With Matt

For ep 203, it’s another in-person conversation with Matt but this time they talk about Matt’s time hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, his new business and more!

This week is technically the second part of their conversation – Mike & Matt’s discussion on Australia continues with food; how Australia has adopted food culture from both the UK & the USA and some snacks. The conversation then delves into Matt’s 3 month long hike in America with his friend Cody; Matt talks food, packing, sores, washing, hitchhiking and more. Towards the end, Matt talks about his new business Bust Builders, where he makes & sells concrete busts of controversial figures!

Last week (ep 202), Matt explains how and why he moved away from Australia, including the difficulties with immigration and living with his partner & her mum during the COVID lockdown. They then discuss the variance in dialects between Australia & the UK and the other differences in culture including hobbies, money, property and the education system, including history. The duo also discuss Australia’s relationship with the British Monarchy, spiders & snakes, and more!
