#152 Pt 1 – Losing over 200 Pounds In 1 Year: A New Weight-Loss Mindset & A New Lease On Life With Chris Braaten

Losing weight is a tough thing to accomplish, so Chris & his wife Alyse’s weight loss journeys are incredibly inspiring, especially when you find out they lost a combined weight of more than 300 pounds in 1 year! So this week Mike speaks with Chris Braaten to explain it all, then talks about his adventures at Disneyworld!

In more detail, this week is part 1 of their conversation, where before Chris details their weight-loss journey, he explains why they have stopped the I Like To Like Things podcast and what’s in store for their podcasting future. Chris then goes into the “main” part of the discussion including their previous attempts at weight-loss and how they made it work this time, including detailing their workout & food regimes, why they wanted to do it in the first-place, their mindset, how it’s positively affected their lives and more!

#72 Pt 2 – Education Over Criminalisation: Parenthood, Redemption & Understanding Substance Abuse With Aidan Rosewell

This week Mike is once again joined by Aidan Rosewell, host of the Room and Days Of My Life podcasts – he opens up about the difficulties in his early life, drug addiction, self-realisation, spiritual beliefs and much more!

In part 2, Mike & Aidan’s discussion on addiction & drug reform continues, before Aidan talks about his spiritual/religious beliefs and their issues with mainstream religion, Aidan’s stance on redemption along with a thought-experiment of the extreme example of Hitler, what an addict needs to do to help themselves along with support networks. The subject then changes to Aidan being a parent and how his past helped him perceive certain issues better, how one should speak with their child regarding drugs & other issues, some of the issues today with uniqueness & normality, the transitional phase our society is currently in and more, so it’s another great chat to sink your teeth into!
